Wire Needed When Installing Derale Temperature Gauge Kit

I would like to put the transmission temperature gauge in an RV. What is the length of the cable? From gauge to sensor or how does it communicate from the transmission to the gauge? Thanks for your help!

The wire is not included with the Derale Temperature Gauge Kit, # D13009.

Per the installation instructions you can use 18 gauge wire to reach from the gauge where it is mounted to a 12 volt switched ignition source, a suitable ground location, and to the transmission fluid line.

We do not offer 18 gauge wire but you could use 16 gauge wire like part # 16-1-1 and not have any problem. This is ordered by the foot on our website.
