Weight Capacity of Timbren Axle-less Suspension Systems

Question:

To whom it may concern, My question is regarding the Timbren axle-less suspension system. Since they are individual axle systems, is their rated load capacity per axle or is it halved and the rated load capacity is for both of them? For example: if I needed to tow 13,000 pounds, could I use two 7,000 pound axle-less suspensions or would I have to install four of them? Im not sure if you know if this translates to Timbrens Dakota Air suspension system as well since you dont seem to carry them, but are a Timbren distributor. Thank you,

The Timbren Axle-less suspension systems are weight rated per axle. So the 7,000lbs is for the set. For your 13,000lbs trailer you would need to install 2 sets, so making your trailer a tandem axle.

For example the 7,000lbs kit # TASR7KS01 has a quantity of one axle set. It has two pieces that equal one axle, a driver's side and a passenger's side. The # TASR7KS01 has a weight capacity of 7,000lbs. If you purchased a quantity of 2 # TASR7KS01, this will give you a weight capacity of 14,000lbs for your trailer.

It's important to note that your trailer may not be capable of the added weight and adding additional suspension will not increase the load capacity of the trailer.

I have linked all the Timbren 7,000lbs Axle-less Systems to this page for your convenience.
