Will Thule T2 Pro X or Another Platform Bike Rack Fit a 2011 Lexus RX 350

The Thule T2 Classic # TH9044-TH9046 will clear the rear of your 2011 Lexus RX 350 when down in the carrying position. But when folded up it will likely not fit. It measures 4-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest rail when folded. This is not enough to clear the bumper on your RX 350. I found that the hitches we have installed on this vehicle measure between 4-1/2 and 5-1/2 inches from the center of the pin hole back to clear the bumper.

For an option that will fit when folded up or down take a look at the Swagman Semi, # S64686. When folded up it measures 8 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the carrier. This bike rack also costs less than the Thule and it features both integrated cable locks and a hitch lock.
