Will Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier Fit 2011 Buick Enclave

Question:

Will this cargo carrier fit on 2011 buick enclave. I am sure it wont allow enough clearance to open lift gate when it is mounted but want to make sure it will mount with no issues.

I have a solution for you, but the Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier # M2200-01-02 does not extend far enough out from the trailer hitch to fit well on your 2011 Buick Enclave. The trailer hitches we've installed on the Enclave required 5 inches of distance between the center of the hitch pin hole and the closest part of the carrier in order to clear the bumper. The # M2200-01-02 offers only 4 inches, meaning it would not work on your vehicle.

Instead, the Carpod Walled, Folding Cargo Carrier # M2205-01-02 will work well for you on your Enclave. This carrier offers much more room between the carrier and the rear of the vehicle, and has a folding feature that will allow the carrier to be folded up against the vehicle when it is not in use. Along with the folding feature, the shank has a 6-1/2 inch rise that will keep the carrier further away from the ground. This Folding carrier has the same weight capacity, storage capacity, and dimensions as the Fixed carrier you originally asked about.
