Installation Of Draw-Tite Hitch, # 24796, On A Nissan And Is It Visible With Ball Mount Removed

does this hitch mount below or behind the bumper cover? and would it be unnoticeable without the receiver installed? thanks

The Draw-Tite Class I 1-1/4 Inch Hitch, # 24796, will fit a 2009 to 2010 Nissan Maxima and a 2007 to 2010 Nissan Altima Sedan.

The hitch will mount below the rear bumper cover on both vehicles and the hitch will be noticeable without the ball mount attached. I am sending you video links of the hitch being installed on a 2009 Nissan Maxima and on a 2010 Nissan Altima. The videos will show you the rear of the vehicle after installation which will give you a good idea on how much of the hitch is noticeable under the vehicle.
