You should not have to trim anything on your 2016 Lexus RX350 to install Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75540. At most, you may need to bend a heat shield a little to keep it from making contact with the hitch. On the Lexus RX450h model there would be trimming on a panel underneath. But none is indicated for the RX350. This hitch is an excellent choice for use with a bike rack.

There is another hitch that will fit, # C13272. But if it were me I would go with the less expensive Draw-Tite hitch.

If you ever plan on doing some towing in the future I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.

And for trailer wiring you can use # 119250KIT to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle.
