Great news! The Roadmaster EZ5 # RM-521446-5 does indeed fit the 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk V6 engine without Active Air Shutters. I have linked a video of this base plate kit being installed on a similar vehicle to yours for you to check out.

A great tow bar for this base plate kit is the Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-522. This tow bar is capable of towing up to 6,000lbs and the hassle-free latches will let you easily release your car even on unlevel ground..
