Recommended Plug & Play Wiring Harness for 2006 Honda Pilot

There is a 4-way plug and play wiring harness that will just plug into your 2006 Honda Pilot. The # 118336 wiring harness will do just that. I have a video showing this wiring harness being installed on your same 2006 Honda Pilot for you to see, I've attached it to this page for you to check out. The plug-in location for this harness will be behind the drivers side trim panel.

To adapt the 4-way that the # 118336 will provide you to a 7-way you will need the # ETBC7. This kit will allow you to make the connections needed to have a 7-way harness with minimal splicing. I have an installation video of the # ETBC7 being installed on a different year Pilot for you to check out. 7-way wiring harnesses are typically used for trailer's with brakes, for a great brake controller I recommend the P2 # 90885. This is our best selling controller and is easy to use as well as easy to setup.

In addition to your hitch and wiring you will need a ball and ball mount to tow your trailer. To determine the correct ones for you trailer you will want to take a few measurements and check the trailer coupler for the size. I have linked a Help Article on this as well.

I wanted to let you know that the Draw-tite trailer hitch that you were looking at # 75599 is confirmed to fit your 2006 Honda Pilot and will install with no drilling needed.

I have attached the above mentioned products as well as some help articles on towing that you may find very informative.
