Question:
Dont you have to top up the Tranny Fluid level after installing a tranny cooler to make up for the added fluid required to fill the cooler? How is that done on a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan since it does not have a Transmission dip stick? Thanks

After installing an aftermarket transmission cooler, you typically do need to add a bit more transmission fluid to the system to compensate for adding the cooler.
With a cooler as large as the Derale Series 8000 Transmission Cooler Kit # D13503, it would be a good idea to add additional fluid to the system. This kit includes the extra hose and hose clamps needed to install the additional cooler.
Since your 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan does not have a dip stick and has a sealed transmission, the best option is to have local authorized Dodge mechanic install the cooler kit so that more transmission fluid can be added to the system with installation. With the system being sealed, going through an authorized shop is the best way to add more fluid to the system and to make sure there will be no other negative effects to the transmission.
