What is the Diameter of the Lock Part of Cable Lock # 8156DPS

I am trying to determine the diameter of the locking portion. I understand the cable is 3/4, but how big is the lock head? I am trying to pas the cable through a 1inch diameter eyebolt. Is it too big to pass through or do i need a larger eyebolt?

I went out to the warehouse to measure the thicker lock part of cable lock # 8156DPS. It is exactly 1 inch in diameter. You will most likely have to force it through a 1 inch diameter hole (though without much effort).

Another option is to use a slightly smaller lock, # 8122D which is 1/2 inch and run the cable end and not the lock end through the eyelet.
