Do Inlet And Outlet Ports Need To Be Mounted In A Particular Direction On Derale Cooler, # D13950
Question:
Do the in and out ports need to be mounted in any particular direction? Such as both pointed up, both pointed down, or on the side. If the ports are mounted sideways so there is a top and bottom, which should be in and out. Thanks

Expert Reply:
The ports on the Derale Atomic-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Kit w/ Fan, # D13950, do not need to be mounted in any particular direction. The transmission cooler is not directional so having the inlet on the top or bottom does not matter. You will want to choose the inlet or outlet port location by what will make your installation easier.
Since this cooler comes with a fan-mounted heat exchanger you can mount the exchanger wherever you want because the fan will provide optimum airflow.
