Which Front Hitch is Compatible with 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie

Question:

Hi, I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie and I have this same front end with the tow hooks. I measured the distance from hook to hook from the inside bolts and it measured 32 1/2inch center to center of bolts. If this would work it would save me a lot of work instead of buying the other type hitches that require you to drill holes in the bottom of the tube frame like the Curt 31017.

The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch # 65046 is the compatible front mount hitch for your 2004 Dodge Ram Pickup. There is some drilling required for the installation. I've attached the installation instructions as well as a video on a 2007 which is the same fit as yours.

The Draw-Tite # 65063 is a custom fit hitch for the 2010 and newer Rams, and has not been tested to be a confirmed fit with your 2004 by the hitch manufacturer, so we cannot guarantee that it will fit.

Also, the Curt # C31017 will not fit on the 3500 Laramie edition.
