Fitment and Installation of Derale 9000 Series Transmission Cooler Kit on a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado
Question:
I put the 8000 series cooler on my truck. Part number d13504. I want to put a 9000 series part number d13614 on it. All I should have to do is take my 8000 off and just put the 9000 on and hook the hoses in the same place rite? Not sure what size hose adapters come with the 9000. Will I need to purchase different adapters. I think me are 3/8.

I spoke to my contact at Derale and he informed me that you will be able to use the existing lines you've run on your 2004 Chevrolet Silverado for your 8000 series cooler # D13504 to switch out just the cooler portion for the larger 9000 series # D13614 with no extra adapters.
I have linked the above mentioned products to this page for your viewing and purchasing convenience.
