Recommended 7-Way Trailer Wiring Extension for Travel Trailer to Reach Bumper Plug on 1994 Chevy C/K
Question:
We have purchased a 17 foot travel trailer. We had the 7 way plug connection installed on my 1994 Chevy Silverado. The shop that did it installed the connection inside my truck bed by the tailgate. My issue is, the plug from the trailer is short. I can not go with the tailgate down as it will hit the propane tanks. I need to go over the tailgate to plug in the connection. What kind of extension can I get to extend this so I dont have to have the connection moved?

It sounds like you are looking for a way to extend your trailer's 7-way plug so it can reach the plug at the bumper of your truck.
To do this you will want Hopkins part # H20044. You will want to wire this 6 foot long connection to your travel trailer by function, I have included a chart of the usual trailer wiring and functions to this page for you to reference.
I have linked the above mentioned product to this page for your viewing and purchasing convenience.
