Recommended Cable Lock For MaxxHaul Platform-Style 2 Bike Carrier
Question:
Hello, I would like to purchase the MaxxHaul Platform-Style 2 Bike Carrier for 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches. Could you please provide an appropriate Hitch lock I would be able to use? Also any locks to secure bikes to the platform bike carrier for security or anti-theft purpose? I would appreciate your assistance in purchasing these items. Thank You.

We do not have a hitch pin lock that will work with the MaxxHaul Platform-Style 2 Bike Carrier, but I do have a solution for you.
I recommend using a cable lock to secure both the carrier and the bikes when on the carrier. The cable lock I recommend is the 10-FT' Long Cable Lock, part # e98891. You can run the cable through the safety chain tabs on your trailer hitch and wrap it around the bikes as well to help deter theft.
