Can the shank be changed out for a 2 inch receiver, we love the carrier as we no longer use it on our trailer. please send part # for purchase.

You could not change the shank on the carrier but you could use reducer sleeve # HT02 which will allow you to use the carrier in a 2 inch receiver without any reduction in hitch tongue weight capacity.
