Sound Dampener Pad Recommendation for Curt Q20 Fifth Wheel Hitch
Question:
I had a Curt Q20 installed in my 2016 Ford 350 dually, I noticed the hitch has a small amount of play where it connects to the bed rails with the pins. Is that normal or Okay to operate like that?

Helpful Expert Reply:
A small amount of play between the fifth wheel rails and the mounting tabs of the fifth wheel hitch is normal.
Curt does offer sound dampener pads part # 16900 to help reduce some of the sound from the movement.
