Compatibility of Curt Class III Receiver Part # C13073 With 2011 Kia Sorento LX

Question:

I just purchased a 2011 Kia Sorento LX. I am looking at your Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver Code: 13073. The technical comment on it is that it will not work on the 2011 Sorento SX - but my question is, will it work on my LX ??? Thanks for any help and info you can provide.

I have spoken with one of my contacts in Technical Support with Curt Manufacturing, who assures me that the Curt Class III Receiver, part # C13073 will fit your 2011 Kia Sorento LX. It is only the SX model, with dual exhaust exiting both sides of the vehicle, that presents a fit problem.

For your convenience, I will provide a link to the installation instructions for you to examine.
