Solution for Stuck Arm on Older Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar
Question:
I have an older Sterling tow bar, SN R-009787, will the rebuild kit you sell work with it? Roadmaster says they do not have any parts for it. one of the arms will not slide in unless using the car to push it, which parts kit do I need to fix this problem? SN009787

There may be some dirt and debris interfering with the normal function of the tow bar. I would start by lubricating the arms, however lubricants like WD40 should not be used. Instead use a silicone-base lubricant like part # L11354.
That's going to be the only solution for your tow bar since it's too old for our repair kits.
