Recommended Bike Rack for 2006 Toyota RAV4 With a Spare Tire on the Back

I have three different brands of bike racks that will fit your 2006 Toyota RAV4 with a spare tire on the back.

The Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Rack # TH963PRO is a hanging rack. A nice feature on this frame is that it comes with a bike and rack lock on it.

The other brand of bike rack that we have that will fit on your RAV4 that I recommend is the Hollywood Racks SR1 2-Bike Carrier - Spare Tire Mount, # HRSR1. The Spare Me Bike Rack doesn't include a lock for the bike(s) so you will want to look at getting one of those if security might be an issue for you. A good cable lock to start with is our 10 foot Long Cable Lock # e98891.

If you have an alternative, women's, or kid's bike frame you will want to make sure to get a bike frame adapter bar so that the bike will rest properly on the bike frame. The SportRack Bike Frame Adapter Bar # SR0500 is an adapter bar that I recommend.
