Can Curt E16 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Be Used with 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5-1/2 Foot Bed
Question:
I want to know if the Curt E15 I already have wIll work with the truck 5.5 foot bed and a Sidewinder on my trailer. I hope so. I spent a lot of time finding that truck with the 6.2l and max trailering.

It sounds like you'd like to install the Curt E16 Fifth Wheel Hitch # C16115 into your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with a 5-1/2 foot bed. This will be no problem at all if your truck already industry standard rails installed. If not you can add them. I suggest the Reese Custom Base Rails Kit # RP50064-58. The custom kit will be much easier and faster to install than a universal kit.
It will also work with your Sidewinder pin box. You'll need the wedge, part # C16991 if you don't already have it.
