5th Wheel Installation Kit for a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 and RBW Hitch

Question:

i have a rbw hitch looking for the installation kit for it. i think its a 15k. from what i can see the model number seems to be lr1000.2008 Dodge ram 3500 4x4 dually 8ft bed.

If the mounting tab spacing on the RBW hitch matches industry standard rails then you can use any above the bed 5th wheel installation kit that fits your truck. Industry standard rails have slots spaced 10 inches, 20-1/2 inches, and 29 inches apart on center left to right and 22 inches apart on center front to back. I have included a picture showing the various measurements for you.

If you determine your RBW hitch will fit standard rails then I recommend custom installation kit # C16420-204. Custom means less installation time and less drilling. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation for you.
