Troubleshooting Brake Controller in 2016 Chevy Silverado that Stopped Working

Hi, I have installed new electeic brakes on a 14 foot floe snowmobile trailer and they are not working. I have checked all the wiring on the trailer and appear to be connected correctly. I believe it could be a truck issue? I do not have any power coming out of the brake pin on the 7 way connection on the bumper, all other pins have power for the running lights and blinkers. Have checked the trailer fuses under.the hood and all look ok. Could it be a bad controller? It is a factory installed controller

You have definitely narrowed the problem down to either the brake controller or the wiring on your 2016 Chevy Silverado. Have you tried using the manual override lever of the controller to see if that puts voltage on the output circuit?

Typically when we see this issue it's third brake light fuse of the truck that is blown...especially on GM trucks. Try checking to see if the third brake light illuminates above the truck bed as that's the easiest way to tell if that's the problem.

I attached a brake controller troubleshooting help article for you to check out as well.
