Question:
This product is stated to have a 2,000lb weight limit. Is this tong weight or gross weight of the boat I will be towing. I have a 2014 MDX AWD and the boat comes in at 1,500lb with motors with a ezload trailer that weighs in at about 650lb. Have the vehicle set up with a 5,000lb capacity but would like to add some additional stability to the handling. Any additional suggestions would be welcomed.

The 2,000 pound weight capacity rating for Timbren helper springs # THROD2 is the amount of downward force the springs can handle. So that would be the tongue weight of the trailer plus anything loaded in the 2014 Acura MDX.
