Could Darby Extend-A-Truck Kayak Carrier and Crossbar be Used on 2016 Ford Edge
Question:
Could the DTA944-968-924 which is a truck kayak carrier be used on a 2016 Ford Escape with a trailer hitch. It would seem to me the 60inch length would be high enough to reach over the back of the SUV. Thoughts? Naked roof without any rails.

As long as you have a 2 inch hitch installed on your 2016 Ford Edge like the # 75234 the Darby Upright and Crossbar setup part # DTA944-968-924 would fit and work well for you.
The vertical height of the upright can be adjusted from 53-3/8" - 60-3/8" too.
