Question:
1. I have a 2006 Dodge 3500, my trailer brakes will not release on occasion, I have adjusted the brake controller, but it does not help. Also, when the truck is off, the brakes, stay engaged, until I manually, pull on the brake pedal. 2. The trailer brakes, function, and the turn signal, and brake lights function. The running lights, that should work at night, do not. Any help on these issues would be great

You have a bad brake pedal switch. It's sticking which is why your brake lights are staying on and your brake controller wants to lock the brakes up. You can try cleaning the switch with some electric parts cleaner to see if you can get it to work smoother and free up but what you really need is a replacement switch.
