Question:
I have a 2006 Chevrolet 2500 Diesel Crew 2wd. I pull a 30 ft forest river trailer appx 66oolb loaded. Is there a hitch extension option for this application. I am trying to put a golf cart in the bed of the truck w/o clearance issues while pulling my camper.

If you have a 2-1/2 inch hitch on your 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD like the Curt hitch part # C15703 then you could use a Titan hitch extender like the part # RP45292 if you used it in the 24 inch length and used a weight distribution system since a WD system gives the extender a higher towing capacity of 8,000 lbs instead of 6,000 lbs.
For a weight distribution system the part # RP66084 would be a great option. It has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs and features only sway control that works to prevent sway.
Hitch Box Extension and Reducer for Titan 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches, 24" - 34" Long
Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion Bar - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW
Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V Commercial Duty - 2-1/2"
