Trailer Hitch Available for 2015 Jeep Patriot that Has Capacity for Carrying Motorcycle Carrier

Hello I would like to use a motorcycle hitch rack with a 2015 Jeep Patriot.I was looking at the 2015 Jeep Patriot Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver Class III - 2inch and it has a tongue weight of 525 lbs.If my motorcycle weighs 425 and the motorcycle hitch weighs 100 lbs would I be able to do this?Or is it not recommended.Thanks in advance.Just wondering what my options for transporting a motorcycle with a 2015 Jeep Patriot are and if this is possible it would be the best.Any other ideas are greatly appreciated!

The Draw Tite hitch for your 2015 Jeep Patriot part # 75712 does have a 525 lb tongue weight capacity which means that if you had exactly 525 lbs worth of weight on the hitch between the carrier and the motorcycle you would be fine but you might verify for sure that the weight does fall within the range of the hitch.

You also will want to check the owners manual of the vehicle to determine what the towing capacities there are too. You need to stay under the lowest rated capacity in the setup.
