Yes, when you are choosing a ball mount to keep your hitched trailer level it is a good idea to account for the normal rear-end squat in the truck from the trailer tongue weight. It is okay for the ball height on the truck to be up to an inch higher than the coupler before you hitch the trailer. This helps account for the squat in the truck.

Between the two adjustable ball mounts you referenced, the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount # BWTS20040B and the Weigh Safe 2-Ball Mount # WS10-25, I suggest the Weigh Safe. Not only do you get the benefit of having a built-in tongue weight scale to help you know the trailer is loaded properly, you will also have a bigger hitch ball height adjustment range, up to 10-inches of drop, which will work better considering the heights of the truck and trailer. As a bonus, the Weigh Safe weighs 10-lbs less thanks to its billet aluminum construction.

Please refer to the linked videos for more on the Weigh Safe adjustable ball mount.
