Comparing the Bulldog Winch #BDW15019 with the Bulldog Winch #BDW15019 For 11 Degree Tilt Trailer

Question:

I have a tilt trailer with an 11 deg tilt, My car is 3200 lbs will the 15019 or 15020 have any trouble pulling it up? Is there any performance difference between the two different units other then the wire vs the synthetic cord . Is the cord difference really worth more if no other difference.

The difference between the Bulldog Winch # BDW15019 and the Bulldog Winch # BDW15019 is not only in the synthetic rope versus cable but also in the fairlead. You can be the judge if it is worth the price difference or not.

Either winch will give you the capacity you need for the length of cable or rope, but you will be at the max capacity of the winch.

If you want a stronger winch for this application, I recommend the Bulldog Winch Trailer Winch - Wire Rope - Roller Fairlead - 7,800 lbs, # BDW10031. This has a much better gear ration, and line speed.
