Question:
I own a 2016 Ford F250 with an 80inch bed length and the factory puck system. I am looking at the Grand Design Reflection 303RLS that comes with the lippert 1621 pin box extension. Can I use the stationary BandW Companion hitch that fits the puck system and a Sidewinder pin box extension or some other manufacturer? I like the BandW because it can be taken apart into two 75 lb. pieces. If the Sidewinder or other brand can be used how much weight does this add to the pin over the rear axle?

Since your 2016 Ford F-250 has the factory puck system you can use a Sidewinder pin box with the B&W Companion hitch # BWRVK3300. For a Sidewinder that fits in place of the Lipper 1621 pin box we have # RP34FR rated for 20,000 pounds, as well as an air ride model, # RP61422, rated for 16,000 pounds.
The Sidewinders come with a universal wedge (the part that locks out turning at the hitch) but for the best fit I recommend the custom wedge for B&W hitches # SWW-06.
Sidewinders can weigh up to 75 pounds more than the stock pin 1621 pin box. This is a drop in the bucket compared to the pin weight of a 5th wheel trailer.
