Running Wiring For Bully Light Bar At Back Of 40-Ft Fifth Wheel Trailer

Id like to add a Light Bar BLS-1103 to the back of my 40ft fifth wheel. Either to the back wall or to the back of my bike rack. I was thinking of tapping into the 7-way in the bed H20043 and running wires to the back to the LED bar so I can take advantage of the reverse function. Whats the easiest, most economical way of doing this? Or should I try to just tap in to the existing brake/running/turn lights on the 5th wheel assuming theres enough power to run them and forego the reverse lights and thus the need to tap into the 7-way. In that case Im willing to run a 4/5 way to power this. Thanks.

There are a couple of ways you can run the wires for the Bully Light Bar, part # BLS-1103. The easiest way would be to attach the light bar wiring to the wiring you have at the rear of your fifth wheel trailer. That is if you can access the wiring easy enough either by getting to the wires under your trailer or by removing the lights and getting to the wiring behind them.

Another way would be to install a junction box like part # 38656 on your fifth wheel and attach the trailer wiring that runs from the 7-way in your truck bed to the junction box. Then use jacketed 4-wire like part # DW04923-1 to run back to the light bar from the junction box. You can use part # DW05737-1 to attach to the terminals on the junction box and use part # HM48190. You can then plug the connector on the light bat into the # HM48190.
