Supplemental Braking System Recommendation for Use with Aventa II Tow Bar
Question:
I have an Aventa II 10,000 lb. Blue Ox tow bar. I want to purchase a Blue Ox autostop hitch to install on my rv. There are several types available on your site. Can you tell me which one will work with the Aventa II.

Expert Reply:
For the older Aventa II there isn't an Autostop that's designed to fit it. That being said I don't like to recommend this kit as our installers haven't found them to be particularly effective and are very difficult to install.
I would rather you use something we know will work well like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR that gets set in the driver seat floor boards and pushes the brakes of the vehicle by sensing the amount of deceleration.
