Hitch Recommendation for 1992 GMC Sierra SLE with Step Bumper

Question:

I am looking for a hitch recommendation for my 1992 GMC Sierra SLE pickup with the 6-1/2 foot bed and an aftermarket step bumper. The step bumper does not appear to be the deep type as it only measures 6-7inch deep. I still have the original size spare tire and would like to keep it in the original mount location. I have looked at and read some of the references for the 75033, 41524, and 41525 models.

For your 1992 GMC C/K with a step bumper we have the Curt hitch part # C14081 which is a confirmed fit. This hitch requires you to temporarily lower the spare to install it but you can then reinstall it once the hitch is installed.
