The Curt 5th Wheel Hitch, part # C16536, and the Base Rails, part # C16411-204, that you referenced are confirmed fits for your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. Even though Curt does produce very good products, I have a few other suggestions that I think you will like more.

The next step up for a sliding 5th Wheel Hitch would be the Reese 20K # RP30083. This hitch has the sliding feature and the 360 jaw contact with the king pin as well, but the big difference with this 5th wheel is the single-jaw design and the 4-way pivoting head which makes the connection more secure and provides minimal jarring and chucking. You can use the base rails, part # RP56001-53, with this 5th wheel hitch.

My favorite 5th Wheel Hitch is the Demco Hijacker, part # DM8550034. The Hijacker is an Autoslide 5th wheel which means that when you go to take a sharp turn, instead of having to get out multiple times to unlock and lock your sliding feature, you can take the turn without even getting out of your vehicle. The head on this hitch will rotate and slide on it's own when you take those turns. This hitch offers the most turning clearance and also features a 360 jaw-to-king-pin contact and has a security bar that locks to provide that extra piece of mind. The base rails that you will want to use with this 5th Wheel is the part # DM8552011-71.
