Slider Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Ram 3500 with Short Bed
Question:
I have the Factory 5th. wheel prep. Do I need a slider 5th wheel and what 5th. wheels do you recommend I buy? Towing 2008 36foot Montana. Thanks,

Since your truck has a short bed you are going to need a slider hitch to allow you to make sharp turns without cab interference. Most slider hitches do require you to get out and activate them when you get to sharp turns so my favorite slider hitch to recommend is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide part # DM8550035 which will automatically slide as you make tight turns to give you the needed clearance.
You will need the Ram rail kit adapter part # DM6099 as well so that the hitch can fit the rail kit.
