Question:
I just purchased a 2017 RAM 2500 Diesel. 6foot Bed. The truck came with the 5th wheel/gooseneck prep package. I am now researching automatic slider hitches that will fit my truck. Do you have any recommendation on what I should purchase. I prefer an auto slider versus a manual slider. And if I was to purchase 5th wheel trailer that has its own revolving king pin ie Reese Revolution, would I need just a fixed hitch? I am new to the 5th wheel RV world but not new to towing.

You are correct that 5th wheel towing with your 6-foot-bed Ram 2500 will require either a sliding 5th wheel hitch and standard pin box or a trailer that has a Revolution/Sidewinder pivoting pin box along with a fixed hitch. Either way you will gain the extra turning clearance you need for low-speed maneuvers.
The auto-sliding 5th wheel hitch I suggest is the Demco Hijacker, which provides 14-inches of extra turning clearance along with its automated slider function. In your truck you will use their 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram # DM6099 along with the 18K hitch # DM8550034.
If you purchase a trailer with a Revolution/Sidewinder pivoting pin box you will gain 22-inches of turning clearance and be able to use a fixed hitch like the excellent B&W Companion # BWRVK3600, which drops right into the factory pucks - no adapter required. This 25K B&W is one of the nicest 5th wheel hitches on the market. Its build quality is outstanding.
