Needing a Trailer Hitch for a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab Truck
Question:
I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad cab. 6foot bed. Comes with tow package but no 2inch tube hitch. Just a hole in bumper for ball. What hitch do you recommend? Also I have a 4pin need to install 7/8 plug. Thanks

We have a hitch that will mount to your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 truck.
I recommend the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, # 13333. This hitch has the 2 inch receiver opening and is designed to fit your Ram truck using a bolt-on design. No welding is required.
You will need the # ETBC7 kit to install the 7-way connecter to your Ram. You will mount the kit at the rear of the vehicle and connect your 4-pole flat connecter to the 7-way included in the kit. The kit also includes all the wiring, electrical components, and hardware needed to wire your vehicle for a brake controller. I have included links to two help articles that will give you more info in installing a brake controller and on the # ETBC7 kit.
If do not have a brake controller as of yet, then I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, # 90885 and # 3020-P brake controller wiring harness. The P2 is one of our most popular controllers due to its easy installation and the controller's ease of use. I have included an installation video of the Tekonsha P2 being installed on a 2006 Dodge Ram for you to review.
