Are Shorter Upright Braces Available For TracRac Ladder Rack On 2016 GMC Sierra 2500

Question:

I want to purchase a TracRac SR and have a question. If I want to add low cross bars just above the bed rails can I snap other load bars into the tracks? I would like to use this to carry SUPs or other items that i do not want to carry up high. Thanks,

The TracRac Sr ladder rack that is designed to fit your Sierra 2500 if it has a 6-1/2 ft bed is part #TH43002XT-781. If you have an 8-ft bed on your truck then part # TH43002XT-780 is what you need.

We do not offer shorter uprights that will fit in the base rails of the ladder rack. The height of the crossbars with the base rails is 27-5/16 inches.

Another possibility is the Thule Xsporter Ladder Rack, part # TH500XT. This does not have the sliding feature but it is height adjustable from 6-inches to 31-1/2 inches.
