Rock Tamers Mud Flap System Compatibility With Weigh Safe Ball Mount On 2005 Ram 2500

Question:

Im looking for an adjustable ball mount with a 10inch that is compatible with the rock tamers. This will be used on a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. The distance from the front face of the hitch to the pin is 2.5. I want to get the weigh safe hitch but I dont know if there is is enough clearance for the rock tamers.

To use Rock Tamers Heavy-Duty, Adjustable Mud Flap System for 2" Hitches - Matte Black # ERT00108, there must be at least 1" of clearance between the back of the ball mount face and the trailer hitch receiver opening. You will have this clearance with either the Weigh Safe 2-Ball Mount w/ Built-In Scale - 2" Hitch - 10" Drop, 11" Rise - 12.5K # WS10-2 or the 180 Hitch 2-Ball Mount w/ Stainless Steel Balls - 2" Hitch - 10" Drop, 11" Rise - 12.5K # LTB10-2.
