The photo in your ad does not adequately show how the bar is secured to the roof of a truck. I have a 2017 Tacoma. How does the bar attach?

The cross bar of the Darby Extend-A-Truck Kayak Carrier w/ Hitch Mounted Load Extender # DTA944-968-924 that you referenced attaches by strapping through the door and attaching to itself in the interior. Basically you open the rear doors, you run the straps through the interior of the back seat and then attach them together there. After that you shut the door.
