Yes, the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, item # 33328, will fit on your 2005 Honda Pilot LX. This hitch is designed for all trim levels of the 2005 Honda Pilot. I have added an instructions link for you to review.
There is some minor fascia trimming involved in the installation, but no drilling or other modifications are required.
You may also be interested in the Curt Trailer Hitch Electric Winch Mount Plate, item # C31010, if you are installing a winch on your Pilot. To secure the winch plate in the receiver I would recommend our Stainless Steel Flush Design 2 inch receiver lock, item # e98882.
