Replacement Bearing Kit For 1998 Coleman Cheyenne Pop Up Camper

Question:

Hello. I read the FAQs and watched some videos and I think I figured out what I need. I have a 1998 Coleman Cheyenne pop up camper and pulled the hub off today. Both bearings are L44649 and both races are 44610. I could not see a number on the seal. The only thing I saw odd were the bearings were two different brands that I pulled off. But if the spindle is all the same size, I guess these are the right bearings. Anyways, since this trailer is new to me, I want to just replace them so I know when they were done. Would I want this kit? https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Bearings-Races-Seals/TruRyde/BK1-150.html I did not see a washer though when I pulled it off. Does that just go between the outer bearing and the nut?

For your 1998 Coleman Cheyenne pop up camper, the Bearing Kit, L44649 Inner/Outer Bearings, 10-60 Seal # BK1-150 is the correct fit based on the info you gave me. If your spindles didn't have a washer, you can add it or not. Some axles don't use washers and this kit comes with the d-shaped washer with the holder for the cotter pin for the castle nut. That washer goes between the outer bearing and the nut as you mentioned.

When you install these, you will want to use a bearing packer like # PTW1218 and grease like # L11390.
