Tire Chain Recommendation for a 2009 GMC 2500HD

Question:

Can I put these chains on a 2009 GMC 2500 HD? Wasnt sure if Light Duty truck meant you cant put these on an HD truck. If not, which chains do you recommend for my truck? Thanks in advance.

These Glacier V-Bar Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tighteners for Light Trucks - 1 Pair, part # PWH2828SC, will work on your 2009 GMC 2500 HD if you have 265/70-17 or 265/75-16.

If your 2009 GMC 2500HD has a different tire size you will need to follow the link below to and select the correct size from the drop down menus.

The term light duty in reference to this product means that it is designed for non-commercial trucks. Basically it means trucks that are for personal and recreational use.

The # PWH2828SC has v-bars on the chain links that provide additional grip as compared to regular snow chains. V-bars are the most aggressive chains we offer, whereas the square link style chains are still aggressive but are the longest lasting.
