Recommended Roof Rack and Cargo Box for 2013 Ford Explorer with Moon Roof
Question:
Can you please recommend a cargo box and crossbars for a 2013 ford explorer limited with moonroof? Also, I have seen on forums that with the 2016 explorer with moonroof there is a 50lb limit on roof....is this true for 2013 also?

I was unable to find the roof capacity for your 2013 Ford Explorer with a moon roof. I recommend checking your owner's manual or with a Ford dealer.
The roof rack I suggest for your Explorer is the Thule WingBars:
60 inch WingBars # TH711520 (black) or # TH711500 (silver)
Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401
The crossbars will mount to your raised side rails. I like the AeroBlade system because it's quieter than most and with the moon roof this will make an impact.
For the cargo box I suggest the Thule Pulse # TH615. It will fit the Thule roof rack and also not interview with the rear hatch of your Explorer I've linked a video showing the box on an Explorer like yours.
