Pulling Out a Yakima Lock Core to Get the Key Number Printed on the Side to Get Replacement Keys
Question:
I have the Yakima Bike rack. but lost the key to it. How do I get a replacement for it? I have the model number on back of rack.

The lock number is printed on the side of the lock cylinder on Yakima locks. As long as the rack is unlocked you can use the control key # Y8007835 to remove the lock to see the number. With that number we can get you the right replacement key.
If the rack is locked then you can see if a locksmith can unlock it. Otherwise the lock will have to be drilled out.
