Question:
I have a 2016 Dodge Ram 3500, 6foot bed with factory 5th wheel mount points. I want to tow a 2015 Keystone Alpine 3535re. Im not sure what type hitch to get. Slider vs. fixed? Can you give any recommendations? Thank you.

I recommend going with a sliding fifth wheel hitch for your 2016 Ram 3500.
The hitch I recommend is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # DM8550035. This sliding hitch gives you an additional 14 inches of clearance when you are making turns. The hitch slides rearward toward the tailgate when you make a turn and returns when you straighten out. All of this is done without you having to exit the truck cab.
You will then need part # DM6099. This adapter mounts to the pucks in the bed of your truck.
Another option is to purchase a fixed fifth wheel hitch and then replace the pin box on your trailer with a Sidewinder. If you decide you want to go with this option let me know what pin box is currently on the trailer and I will see if we have a Sidewinder that will work for you. I will also make a recommendation for a fixed fifth wheel hitch for your truck.
You will need a 7-way wiring harness for the bed of your truck for your fifth wheel. I recommend part # 20110.
