What Trailer Wiring Circuit do Clearance and License Plate Lights Run To

Question:

when wiring in amber side marker lights or a license plate holder with light, which wire would I tap into? I am assuming the brown, but would like some confirmation on that before I get cut happy :

The amber side marker lights and the license plate light on a trailer would need to be ran to the running light circuit like you mentioned. This is typically the brown wire.
