Question:
When plugged into my gooseneck 35 foot Tralier to break is always on have to up plug to move the rig brake force break controller ? The tralier is small plug and the truck is the large plug . We use an adapter maybe that is what is keeping the breaks in on all the time . ??? Pls advise thomas keaty thanks

Sounds like you have a 6-way connector since you said gooseneck hitch and that is the most common connector used with them. What is going on is that there is two different ways the 6-ways can be wired. Only difference is that the 12 volt accessory circuit and the brake output circuit are switched. So when you use the wrong wiring setup you end up with the brakes locking up all the time.
So basically you just have to switch the two circuits and it'll work fine again.
