Question:
GM, in their quest to build a better mouse trap has extended the box sides on the new truck. Not knowing this when I bought it, I find that the Leland 7920 will NOT clear the insides of the box on sharp turns. This is a crew cab 8foot box truck and have set the truck part of the hitch to its tallest settings. My question pertains to the Sidewinder being tall enough to get the pivot point of the trailer up and over the top of the box. Sorry, no photos, youll have to use your imagination- - - -

The Sidewinder pin boxes do raise the pivot point for pin boxes significantly. Ram trucks have a similar problem with their RamBox trucks. The Sidewinder is the only way to get the pivot point high enough that the box clears the bed rails.
For your Leland 7920 the Sidewinder part # ST400-5AS16K is a confirmed fit and would give you the clearance you need.
